Frequently Asked Questions
How do I provide you with my address? How do I RSVP?
1
Please use the Address Form feature on this site to provide the address at which you would like to receive your invitation. Invitations will have a form to RSVP online as well.
Unfortunately, I already know that I am unable to attend on May 1, 2027. What should I do?
2
We will be disappointed that you will not be able to join us, but if you already know that you will not be able to make our special day we ask for as much advance notice as possible. This may allow us to include another special person in our wedding day.
Are children included?
3
We have decided to have an adults-only celebration and look forward to guests 21 and older joining us.
What should I wear?
4
For the ceremony and reception, we are planning for formal dress code. We are envisioning men in suit and tie (no need to wear a tuxedo!) and women in midi or floor length dresses.
Will there be transportation? Will there be parking?
5
Chicago Winery is conveniently located within short walking distance of all our wedding hotels. For this reason, we will not be providing transportation to the ceremony/reception. Parking and/or valet will not be provided so if you choose to drive to the venue please plan to use SpotHero or another application to procure parking ahead of time.
For out of town guests joining us at the Welcome Fiesta, we recommend allowing 25 to 30 minutes via taxi, Uber, or Lyft to get from River North to Wicker Park. Parking around Big Star is extremely limited. Big Star is also accessible via the Blue Line.
Who should I inform about my dietary restrictions?
6
We will request any allergies or dietary restrictions on the RSVP form once invitations have been distributed.
Can I take pictures?
7
We have hired a photographer that we are very excited about. We kindly request that you leave photos to the professionals during the ceremony and keep your phones put away. Photos during the rest of the evening are encouraged. Dance floor pictures are highly encouraged!
